Thank you, I’ve seen so many internet tough guys attacking other believers on issues that are secondary at best, thank you for being willing to monitor this and not let it turn into a theological wild wild west. I believe your mentor would be very proud of you.
This “Stranger Theology” is an answer to prayer. I’m very much looking forward to hearing what everyone has to say. Thank you for sharing your time in doing this. Again, truly an answer to prayer for me. Blessings on us all!
I’m incredibly excited but very nervous and feeling way out of my depth I must admit. This will be my first time reading the bible. I’ve followed multiple ‘supernatural’ Christian podcasts over the last 2 years (Blurry Creatures being my favourite of course 🥰) and have had my late aunts bible sitting on my bedside table for the last 3 years. I read a passage every now and then but starting from the beginning has always felt so overwhelming. Thank you for creating this approach….it seems perfect to begin here as it was the ‘blurry’ that bought this ‘10years in the New Age girl’ to Jesus 🙏. From Melbourne Australia, thank you🙏🥰
My first time as well. I tried in the early 2000’s and got stuck at all the killing. Since then so many things have changed. I’ll spare the gory details on what has happened over that time but I will say I understand what all the killing was probably about. I’ve been born again since 1987 and have gone through lots of stages. I could babble on but just wanted to chime in and say this is my first in reading the Bible in a year😎
I love having the guidelines upfront. As someone who finds myself at times being a little blunt for some, but honestly just really curious, it is good to know how to approach things in a forum where nobody can see the curious eyes. In this way, we are all blurry creatures in the darkness and it is unknown if we are writing with good intentions or disdain. It can be helpful in chats to state intent along with questions or curiosities, so you become a little less of a misunderstood blurry voice. Also, as many of us know, I am confident, no first edition when it’s not the main dish is perfect. If you aim for perfection, no one will ever even get a taste of it. I appreciate all the work that has gone into this adventure and the willingness to move forward in God’s timing rather than fear that some journal may have some typos or limited information.
Ohhh! I have five grandkids so I love the children’s edition idea! Also looking forward to the article about Santeria. Born and raised in Miami, and our church is here too so yeah… Santeria is all over this area. Oh and thank you for the guidelines 😊
My recccomendation for the Journal improvement would be a slightly higher quality paper for the interior pages, yes that comes at an expense but even if there was an option I know I would invest in it myself because I have a finer taste in writing utensils that prefer finer paper 😅
I'm really looking forward to diving into this Bible-in-a-year plan. I've completed the Bible in a year before using the "One-Year" Bible, but it was kind-of dry to me. Of course, this was years ago, before I knew of or heard anything "blurry".
I'm excited to have God's Word come alive to me in a deeper way this time around using this guide.
I'm super excited about this Bible study. I do attend a church that discusses 'blurry' topics, (Eden in Newcastle, WA, Pastor Darren Stott) but I work a lot and I live about a 30-45 minute drive from the church. So deep diving into the Bible without fear and eyes open at home with all of you is a blessing to me. I'm just now finishing The Unseen Realm, so it's perfect timing too. God bless us all throughout this year together!
I’m a total armchair theologian so look forward to the opportunity to hang out with real theologians. I’ve been following Michael Heiser and reading his books for the past three years. Did a personal deep dive study on revelation last three or four years and as an author, considering writing a book on Rev. 12. I am ready for the next level!! Signed up as a subscriber. Thank you so much for the guideline and all the materials 👌🏻
I’m so not a “scholar” so right now I beg for patience 😊 before you all. Read a lot listen a lot but love Jesus more than a lot Peace to all.

I would love to see it in a three ring binder format.
You can bring it to a place like Staples and have it spiral bound.
That doesn't allow for pages to be added for notes.
True, unless you add some pages to it.
It's gonna be amazing!!!
Thank you for everything you guys are doing, truly!
